• About the poem  - The poen is written by poetess addressing her brother who has gone abroad for duty. It is a simple letter type poem by a sister to her brother.

Poet -  Emily Dickinson was born in 1830, in Amherst, Massachusetts. Emily was known as a grief poet. Isolation, dark side of life, Death, World after Death etc. are the themes of her poem. Emily Dickinson hardly left her home. By the 1860s she lived complete alone.  Her work was not recognized during whole her lifetime. The publication of her poems posthumously gained her a large recognition and popularity. She died in 1886, at the age of 55.

Title -  'There is another sky' is a sonnet with an inspirational message of 'never say - die'.

'The poetess is addressing her brother through the poem. She encouraged him to not stop to move on, do not despair for success in life. If one door closes another door opens. She is inspiring her brother to overcome life's frustrations. She wants him to have positive attitude, and she also wants her brother to not to get depressed in any circumstances.

I'm really inspired by this poem. I learn from this poem 'Never depress'. You should try and not give up under any circumstances. This poem gives new motivations and energy to live. I like the way it says don't lose hope if one door closes another door opens. The poem shows the way to lead a positive life. That's why I reaaly like this poem.
